Background
In 1962, ten local artists founded the Littleton Fine Arts Guild. Fifteen years later the group took on the task of restoring the historic Littleton Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Depot. The project was a joint effort
between the community, the City of Littleton and the Littleton Historical Museum. The caboose was acquired in 1979. The Littleton Fine Arts Guild maintains the building, manages the gallery and displays members' artwork. Original paintings, ceramics and photography are for sale and reasonably priced.
Mission
The Guild is organized to provide members of the community opportunities for artistic development, to promote and encourage qualified instruction and education in fine arts, to sponsor exhibits, to maintain the fine art gallery known as the Depot Art Center & Gallery and to make contributions to the cultural life of the City of Littleton and the State of Colorado.
